Listed below is a general outline for the 2009 National Smart Start Conference. More information will be available in the upcoming months including keynote speakers, workshop titles, special events, etc.
Monday, May 4, 2009
4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Pre-Conference and Conference Registration open.
Tuesday, May 5, 2009 – Pre-Conference Day
7:30 a.m. Conference registration opens.
8:30 – 5:00 p.m. Pre-Conference sessions will be held today. While there is no extra cost to attend these sessions, space is limited and persons must register in advance to attend specific pre-conference workshops. Sign up when you register for the conference!
5:00 p.m. Pre-Conference activities conclude.

7:30 a.m. Conference registration opens.
8:00 – 9:30 a.m. Coffee and Conversation Discussion Groups: Small group discussions will be held on a variety of topics including the burning issues in the early childhood field today. Check the workshop schedule for information on advance sign-up.
10 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Conference Opening Plenary Session and Keynote Address
12:00 noon Lunch on your own
2:00 – 3:30 p.m. Workshops
3:30 – 4:00 p.m. Break
4:00 – 5:30 p.m. Workshops
5:30 p.m. Evening Reception and Resource Marketplace: All persons registered for the conference are invited to attend!
